Built by Compliance Professionals. Designed for Regulated Firms.
Vectrex was not created by software developers attempting to understand compliance. It was built the other way around.
A RegTech platform built from practical experience
The platform has been developed under the oversight of experienced compliance, risk, and financial services professionals who have spent decades operating within FCA-regulated businesses, navigating regulatory change, conducting file reviews, managing financial crime risk, training advisers, overseeing governance frameworks, and engaging directly with regulators.
Every module within Vectrex has been designed to solve real-world problems encountered by compliance officers, advisers, training and competence supervisors, and senior managers responsible for regulatory oversight. The result is a RegTech platform built from practical experience rather than theoretical interpretation.

Technology guided by regulatory expertise
Whilst Vectrex is an advanced AI-powered RegTech platform, technology alone does not determine compliance outcomes. Every module has been designed around established compliance principles including:
- Consumer Duty
- SMCR
- FCA Handbook requirements
- SYSC systems and controls
- Financial Promotions rules
- Training and Competence frameworks
- Vulnerable Customer guidance
- AML and Financial Crime requirements
- Governance and Risk Management
- Operational Resilience
- Auditability and evidential standards
The platform's architecture, methodology, scoring frameworks, review processes, and reporting outputs have been designed to reflect how experienced compliance professionals review, challenge, evidence, and document regulatory decisions in practice.
Built for the future of AI-enabled compliance
In July 2026, the Financial Conduct Authority published The Mills Review: AI and the Future of Retail Financial Services, a landmark review examining how artificial intelligence may reshape firms, consumers, markets and regulatory oversight by 2030 and beyond. The review recognised the significant opportunities AI presents, while emphasising the importance of governance, accountability, explainability and human oversight.
Vectrex has been built with these principles at its core.
Long before the publication of the Mills Review, Vectrex was designed around a human-in-the-loop approach, where AI supports compliance professionals rather than replacing them. Throughout the platform, human review, approval and accountability remain central to decision-making processes. This reflects the review's emphasis that as AI systems become more capable, firms must continue to maintain appropriate oversight, explainability and responsibility for outcomes.
The Mills Review highlights how AI could help address longstanding challenges within financial services, including improving access to support, reducing inefficiencies and enabling better consumer outcomes. Vectrex has been specifically developed to help firms achieve these goals through faster regulatory research, more consistent file reviews, enhanced compliance monitoring, stronger governance and improved auditability.
Importantly, Vectrex is not designed to make regulated decisions on behalf of firms. Instead, it provides structured analysis, evidence, insight and operational support, while ensuring that responsibility remains with appropriately qualified human reviewers. This approach aligns closely with the direction of travel identified in the Mills Review for the safe and effective adoption of AI within financial services.
Designed for regulatory scrutiny
Vectrex has been built with a simple philosophy:
If an adviser, compliance officer, board member, auditor, professional indemnity insurer, or FCA supervisor asks, "why was this conclusion reached?" there should always be a clear and defensible answer.
This philosophy underpins every Vectrex module — from regulatory research and file reviews to financial promotions oversight, compliance monitoring, training, governance, and risk assessment.
Our commitment
Vectrex combines professional compliance expertise with modern AI technology to help regulated firms improve consistency, efficiency, governance, auditability, and regulatory confidence.
The platform is built by professionals who understand both sides of the challenge: the regulatory expectations firms must meet and the practical realities of running a successful financial services business.
That combination of regulatory expertise, industry experience, and technology-led innovation is what makes Vectrex different.
